LOVE MAKES THE HOUSE LIKE HOME

It's always been my ambition to try out something I have yet to and to step out into the unknown – to let the creative juices flow inside out.

I recalled that one day, Daniel and Shipei has invited Anthony, Yan Lin and I over to their nest for a leader's meeting and bonding session. I had a crazy idea and inspiration of doing a home shoot cum post-wedding shoot pop into my head and I knew it would be easy for me to bring it across to Daniel. Just because I was one of the photographers on their actual wedding day (If you haven't, check out the album here – it was my first time following the groom!) and I believe he is supportive of my work as a photographer! Plus it's free photos for the both of them, so why not right?

I got my gears ready packed into my work bag the night before! Alas, I realized that our meeting was going to happen at night... There goes the natural lighting I was looking for (Guess I have to drop by again another day to shoot the daylight ones).

After our meeting, we proceeded to play Just Dance 2018 which Daniel has been raving about it since day 1 when he got it! They started pairing up and challenging each other while I whipped out my camera to capture these raw moments. Definitely shows my love and passion ya!

As we were close to the end, I asked Daniel and Shipei to challenge each other so that I could capture some moments for them. They decided to dance to oppa gangnam style and it was hilarious! I just happily snapped away while they were draining up their energy. Haha, look at the intense amount of energy they put into dancing! The rest can be viewed here.

Oops... I got distracted while they were dancing, something else caught my eyes. Creative juices started flowing and the crazy amount of things I could do flooded my mind!!! If you've been following my other instagram account @k.lovelord, you would have noticed that I've been waffling! Ps. Only two people in this world knows this term of ours. Haha! I asked Daniel if it was possible to tilt his living room blinds 90°. I requested for all the lights to be switched off and whipped out my fairy lights. Here's what i imagined in my head and actually putting it into action, making it possible was easy peasy! Oh yes, I love to pre-think (if there's such a word) about the results I would want to achieve and attain.

Well, I am not saying that nobody has done this before but rather it was more of an interesting experience and hands on moment for me. To actually implement and try it for myself. Because everything is all about practice. And practice makes perfect.
